Grade Definitions
Certified Analytical Reagent (CAR)
Certified Analytical Reagent designates our line of high quality fine chemicals suitable for analytical use in the laboratory or in specialized production situations. The specifications of our CAR product line meet or exceed industry standards for premium analytical quality chemicals.

(ACS) - The ACS mark coupled with our Certified Analytical Reagent line indicates the reagent meets all of the specifications and requirements as found in the publication Reagent Chemicals, published by the American Chemical Society.

(USP) - The USP mark coupled with our Certified Analytical Reagent line indicates the reagent is suitable for use in testing USP and NF monographs and meets the requirements put forth in the Reagents, Indicators, and Solutions section of the United States Pharmacopeia. For chemicals meeting USP monograph specifications, please refer to our USP grade.

U.S.P.
U.S.P. indicates our products that conform to the specifications in the United States Pharmacopeia monograph.

N.F.
N.F. products conform to the specifications in the National Formulary monograph.

Certified Analytical Titrant (CAT)
Certified Analytical Titrant designates our line of standardized titration solutions. They are individually lot analyzed and are traceable to NIST Standard Reference Material whenever an appropriate SRM exists.

Volumetric Solution (VS) - The (VS) mark coupled with our Certified Analytical Titrant line indicates a Volumetric Solution that is suitable for use in testing USP and NF monographs. They have been produced and standardized in accordance with the requirements put forth in the Reagents, Indicators, and Solutions section of the United States Pharmacopeia.

Test Solution (USP) (TS)
Test Solutions (USP) are specially intended for use in testing USP and NF monographs. These solutions are produced in accordance with the requirements put forth in the Reagents, Indicators, and Solutions section of the United States Pharmacopeia.

Colorimetric Solution (CS)
Colorimetric Solutions (CS) are specially intended for use in testing USP and NF monographs. These solutions are produced in accordance with the requirements put forth in the Reagents, Indicators, and Solutions section of the United States Pharmacopeia.

Custom Solution

Instrumental Analysis Solvent (HPLC) (IAS)
Instrumental Analysis Solvents (HPLC) are high purity solvents intended for use in high performance liquid chromatography. These solvents typically have a high assay and low UV absorption, fluorescence, residue and water.

Instrumental Analysis Solvent (Residue) (IAS)
Instrumental Analysis Solvents (Residue) are high purity solvents intended for use in residue extraction/concentration procedures. These solvents are suitable for environmental analysis for EPA sample cleanup methods.

Trace Metal Analyzed (TMA)
Our Trace Metal Analyzed line of chemicals consists of high purity, triple-distilled, reagent acids which have been assayed for trace metals content. They are intended for use in trace element analysis.

Electronic Grade Reagent (EGR)
Our Electronic Grade Reagent product line is a special line of solvents suitable for use in most critical laboratory applications, specialized industrial applications and in the electronics industry. These products feature low levels of particulate and a trace metals analysis.

Food Grade
Food Grade is Integra's line of high quality, economical chemicals suitable for use in food processing and production. They meet industry standard Food Grade specifications.

(FCC) - The (FCC) mark coupled with Food Grade indicates a product that meets Food Chemical Codex (FCC) specifications.

99 Plus (99+)
99 Plus represents Integra's line of good quality, economically priced chemicals suitable for use in non-critical laboratory and industrial applications.

Purified
Our Purified grade designates chemicals of high quality and purity where no official standards or compendia exist. This is a higher grade than either Practical or Technical.

Practical
Practical chemicals are of good quality, typically suitable for use in non-critical laboratory and industrial applications.

Technical
Technical chemicals are of commercial quality for industrial use. They may be suitable for some laboratory applications.
